Lesnes Abbey Procession 2009

This afternoon saw the annual Corpus Christi Procession of the Most Blessed Sacrament around the ruins of Lesnes Abbey. The weather smiled on us with bright sunny intervals interspersed with the odd cool breeze. Here are some pictures of the procession:

Lesnes Abbey Procession of the Blessed Sacrament

The annual procession takes place this year on Sunday 29th June. Meet at 3pm near the footbridge over Abbey Road. Parishes congregate in groups behind their sign.

An opportunity to gather with the Deaneries of Bexley and Greenwich to recognise and adore Jesus in the Eucharist.
